Gymboree

The kids and I had a playdate at Gymboree today. I am to cheap to pay for weekly classes, so we went with a large group for open play. I believe Jack was the loudest child and the roughest. Molly enjoyed watching the other kids and she worked on her crawling skills.
Thanks to Shannon for taking the pics of my kids.

Halloween

We hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. The Strope family is candied out! We went trick-o-treating at Storybook Forest, Sterling House Nursing Home, and our neighborhood. Molly managed to wear two different costumes that week, due to her mother's obsessive Ebay shopping! I am sure the flamingo outfit will fit next year, at least that's how I convinced Aaron that we needed both. Jack was Spider-man and he had a major melt down because I forgot to buy him Spider-man "Glubs" or gloves. Overall, the week was fun and we look forward to next year. Hopefully next year I will have a camera and won't have to mooch off of other people for their pics.

Here are pics of Jack and his cousins at Storybook Forest. This night was full of roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, trick-o-treating in the forest, games, and a hayrack ride. The night was freezing cold and very windy. Molly was a trooper.

Miley Cyrus, Spider-man Ben, Snow White, Spider-man Jack, and a beautiful peacock. In the above pic Jack is yelling, "Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!" He is always making us laugh.

Sooner Born and Bred

Miss Molly's first OU football game was at OU/Texas last weekend. Aaron and I actually paid for Molly to go to the game with us. Aaron knew it was the only way I would go. I have major control issues when it comes to being seperated from my baby. So, she went with us. Thanks to Gramma Trish, we got Molly a ticket for face value. My mom used the "nursing baby" card and a nice older gentleman sold us a 40 yard line seat for face value.

Molly was the most popular girl at the game. Everyone thought she was the cutest baby, even when she was screaming at the top of her lungs due to all of the loud noise. I never realized how loud OU/TX games are, until I brought my six month old to the game. She screamed for about a minute and then passed out and slept in the Baby Bjorn for most of the first half. She also took another nap in the second half. I think all of the noise wore her out. I'm sure her first words will be Boomer Sooner!

Gone Fishin'

Jack spent Saturday night with my parents. My parents were so willing to take on Jack and his cousins, Ben and Sara. Jack loves Gramma Trish, but I think he loves PaPa even more! My parents are amazing grandparents. They spoil their grandkids rotten. When Jack comes home from Gramma Trish and PaPa's house, we always have to deprogram him. "No, Jack you can't have Rice Krispie Treats and Root Beer for breakfast". Grandparents Rock!!!

Monkeys Jumpin' on the Bed

So, the main reason for the sleepover at Gramma Trish and PaPa's house..fishing trip. My dad loves to fish. It could be 5 below outside and he is out at the lake with his fishing pole and a six pack of beer. My dad has been talking about taking Jack fishing for 3 years now. Well, they finally went. All of the kids had a great time, but I think my dad enjoyed it the most. Enjoy.

Jack cheesin it up with his first fish!!

Sitting Up

Molly is finally starting to get the hang of sitting up. Over the last week she has made a lot of progress. Here she is...
