Sitting Up
Molly is finally starting to get the hang of sitting up. Over the last week she has made a lot of progress. Here she is...
Doctor's Orders...

Jack had a great appt with his doctor this morning. He was super chatty and performed very well for Dr. P. He even managed to scare her with his Batman mask. She loved it. Jack weighs a wopping 35 lbs and is 38 inches tall. He is a growing boy. Now, it is back to potty training. Dr. P. believes that since Jack can ride his tricycle, Jack can potty train. So, Round #2 starts tomorrow. Good Luck to Jack and to me!
Big Promotion!!!
Congratulations, Aaron!! My husband got a new job last Friday. Aaron has been promoted to a District Manager position. Aaron's first official day on the job is today. Aaron will now manage a team of 10 pharma reps. He will have 4 reps in St. Louis, 2 in Kansas City, 2 in Tulsa, and 2 in OKC area. I like the sound of him having 4 reps in Oklahoma. Aaron will still be traveling each week, however, all of his flights will now be direct. That will cut down on a lot of wasted time in between airports and sitting in airports. Hopefully we will all see Aaron a bit more. I am so proud of my husband. He is an amazing man, husband, father, and friend. Because of his hard work and dedication to his job, I am able to stay at home with our two wonderful children. Thank you for everything you do, Aaron. I am so blessed to have you as my husband. Congratulations to my man!

Nine Lives!
No, I am not talking about a cat. I can't stand cats. I am talking about our camera. We bought our camera when we first got married, which made it almost 5 years old. It finally bit the dust. It has gone through so much over the last few years. I can't count how many times I have dropped the camera, Jack has dropped the camera, and the real doozie...I left it out in a rain storm. After all of that it has been able to take decent pictures. Well, not anymore. Jack finally broke it. So, there may not be as many posts of my children for awhile. I am hunting for a new camera.....

Andrew the Chatter Box
Here is a video of my ever so handsome nephew, Andrew. He is two and is the sweetest and most adorable 2 year old that I know. His mom sent me this video of him trying to talk. Andrew is not only trying to accomplish the English language, but the Spanish language as well. His daddy is Aaron's brother and his mommy is from Morelia, whis is the state capital of Michoacan Mexico. He will be bilingual before we know it. I love this little boy. Enjoy!!!

The Newby Cousins
Jack and Molly have three great cousins that live here in Edmond with us. Jack is crazy about all three of them. I would have to say that his favorite would be Benjamin. Hanna, Benjamin, and Sara are my sisters children. My sister, Katie, is four years older than me so she got a head start on the baby making. However, her third child Sara Grace is five days younger than Jack. So, Katie and I got to enjoy our pregnancies together. For some reason I could not get Katie to join me when I was pregnant with Molly. I think her three kids are quite the handful.
Sara Grace is 3 years.

Hanna Kat turns 8 in October. Molly really loves her cousin Hanna.

Ben is 5 years and Jack's favorite. Jack is behind the mask. The Spider-man costume is the first thing Jack wants to play with at Aunt Katie's house.

This is a picture at Aunt Katie's pool. It was the last day to swim before the pool was shut down for the winter. The cool aunt that I am let them jump in with all of their clothes on. Then they went skinny dippin'. They love me. Sara Grace is the stubborn child. She refuses to pose for any picture that is not her idea.

Got cereal?
Molly had her first try at rice cereal today. Yes, she is almost 6 months and I am just now offering cereal. I just don't look forward to spending my days cleaning up a highchair after she slims it with green beans, squash, bananas, etc. I have tried to hold off, but I need to at least offer it to her before her 6 month check-up.
I am not sure if she likes it. She just stared at me with a look of complete confusion. I have a feeling that this big baby will like her food. So, here we go....

Open wide, Molly. Huh, yea right.

Here is her cereal coming right back out.

This is Miss Molly with a happy tummy. She managed to eat everything I offered her. Now I can look forward to the days when she thinks its funny to spit her food all over me.

Look a Like??
A lot of my friends say "Molly looks like Jack." During Molly's first few weeks of life I saw a lot of Jack's characteristics in her. But, as she has grown and put on some pounds, I think she is a completely different baby. So, here are a few photos to compare.
The first two are Jack and Molly, each 2 months old.

The next two are Jack and Molly 5 months old.

Our babies are so beautiful. We are blessed.

Jack's New Do..
Jack got his hair cut yesterday. He asked Miss Lisa for "a mohawk". The not so brave mommy that I am, would only let her give him a faux-hawk. So, here it is.

And here is a picture of Jack at 6 months. When he was a baby, his hair grew so fast on top of his head. He looked like a rooster most of his infant days.

And when I say "rooster" this is what I am referring to.

This is Jack at 6 weeks. His first haircut!
