Mr. Stinky Feet
This morning the kids and I went to the Edmond Library to watch Mr. Stinky Feet perform. Mr. Stinky Feet and his band sing some really fun songs that my children love. He also asks for volunteers to play in his "band". Here is a picture of Molly and me playing a tambourine. Parents were asked to set a good example for their children and to help out in the band. I was up there with 6 other mothers and Molly. Molly started crying when I went up to shake it and Mr. Stinky Feet let Molly help out too. She loved it.
Cousin, Ben, was the volunteer for the "stinky feet" song. He was asked to scream "pee-yew" every time he said the words, Stinky Feet. Ben did a great job.
Jack was also picked and got to play a noise maker that was made with a empty water bottle and it was filled with dog food. He thought that was quite funny.Luke was the only one in our group that did not perform. He slept the entire show.

Splash Pad!!!
I took the kids to a neighborhood splash pad. It was sooo hot outside and this was the perfect place to play that afternoon. They played in the refreshing water, which is cooler than any pool these days, and then they would go play on the playground. They had a great time playing with their friends. By the end of the afternoon they were exhausted and ready to go home.
Our friend, Carter, was lots of fun that day.
Jack loves the monkey bars. He can only make it across once or twice and then his muscles are "too weak."
Our friend, Lincoln, wanted to give it a try after Jack went across. Look at Linc's hair. I love it. The water and wind made it stand straight up. I love this little guy.

Look at my little sweetie. She loves the water guns!

2 Months Old
Luke turned 2 months on the 12th. He is such a little sweetie. We went to the doctor on Thursday and the doctor said he is perfect. I think I have to agree with her. Luke weighed 12lbs 13 ounces and was 24 1/4 inches long. He is two feet long! His face is starting to fill out and is changing. I love the fat little knees that he has gotten recently. Luke is a great baby. He never cries sleeps pretty good for me. He got two shots yesterday and it wiped him out. He came home and slept for two hours, was up for milk, then went back to sleep for two more hours. We go back to the doctor at 4 months. I can't wait to see what he looks like then.

8 weeks

Luke is 8 weeks and growing right before my very eyes. I am anxious to see how big he is at his 2 month check up. I think he is the longest of my three kids. He is already wearing 6 month clothing because he is so long. He is starting to smile more and more every day. Although he is very serious most of the time. His sleeping at night is still unpredictable and hopefully will get better soon. Molly was already sleeping 8 hours straight at this age. Not Luke! We love you Luke Daniel.

Parade
Saturday morning i took the kids to the 4th of July parade in Edmond. Jack loved all of the Shriner's and their mini cars, the policemen and their motorcycles, and the horse poop on the street. Molly enjoyed the Gorilla driving the old car and did not enjoy the loud noise from the firetrucks. Luke was awake for the entire parade. He needed to nap, but too much was going on. Notice that I don't have my children dressed in red white and blue. I am such a party pooper!
