Luke's Baptism

On Sunday, our little Luke was Baptized at our church. Luke is a lucky boy. Aunt Maggie flew in from Cleveland and our good friend Wade flew in from Houston. Maggie and Wade were asked by Aaron and myself to be Luke's godparents. We love Maggie and Wade and we know that we chose two wonderful people for Luke. Thank you Maggie and Wade for loving Luke and for graciously accepting.

Luke wore a family baptismal gown that is very special to my mom and her family. This gown has been in our family for over 96 years! It is absolutely beautiful and still in impeccable condition. All of my cousins and my siblings were baptized in this gown. Jack and Molly also wore this gown along with their cousins.

Luke liked Father John and the Holy Water!

Our little guy was so happy and was checking everything out.
He was extremely fascinated by his baptismal candle. Could not stop staring.

So cute.

Proud parents and Godparents.

I overheard my 5 year old niece talking to Luke. Sara said, "today is your Baptism, Luke, and we get to welcome you to the church." Children are miracles from God and they amaze me everyday!

First Day of School

Jack had his first day of Pre-K today! He was so excited to go to his new "big" school. Jack will be attending St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic school. It is too funny when he tries to pronounce the name of his school. His teacher is Miss Nan and he has several friends in his class that he went to Preschool with last year. I was so proud of our Little Big Guy.

Jack's uniform consists of a Red or White Polo and navy shorts or pants. The red bag is required for all kids Pre-K to 2nd grade. So, Jack's shoes were the only thing he got to pick out for school. I love the uniform because I don't have to worry about what he is going to wear.

Hope we have a great year in Pre-K.

Strolling in to school with his friend Carter. Big Studs!!!
This is a picture from the carpool line. Jack is raising his hand to tell his teacher that his car is next in line.

Bed Head

We have bed head!!!! That means that his hair is growing!!!

Mrs. Ehrenreich

This past weekend, our Aunt Jessica married Sam Ehrenreich at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Fort Worth. The wedding was beautiful and the bride was stunning! Aunt Jessica and Uncle Sam asked Jack to be a ring bearer. Jack, along with cousin Andrew got to walk down the aisle. Here is a sneak peak at Aunt Jessica and my two kids. I hope family and friends that were not at the wedding enjoy the pictures. I will be posting more pictures. Grandma Martha, I hope you like the wedding pictures. We missed you!!! Hope you are recovering well.
